The West End on Roatan is the place to live out the night. The stretch along
the beach has a wide variety of bars and clubs to fit any partiers needs. Read on for our review of some of the West End’s bars.
Many choose to start off the evening at Sundowners where, from March until October you can watch the sunset. The bar goes right down onto the beach, where you will oftentimes find a fire going with several other travelers sitting around enjoying a drink. Wednesday is the busy night here with the Chase the Ace jackpot running. Most people come here early in the evening, as the establishment closes early.
The Twisted Toucan is another popular spot to head to after Sundowners has closed. It’s a pretty wild bar, mixed with the craziest tourists and locals. The music is good and loud, and everyone, staff and owner included, get in on the dancing. Remember to tip well, and you’ll get full service at the bar. Happy Hour lasts for 3 hours, and is followed by Ladies Hour, both
of which feature half-priced drinks.
For some Fosters is the highlight of the night. This bar is located out on the water, and is at the end of the long road. For many it is the final destination of the night.

If you still are looking for more in the wee hours of the morning, try FUBAR, on the far end of West End, toward West Bay, near to Luna Beach. This place really starts to hop around midnight and the party usually lasts until at least 3 in the morning! The music is loud, and the dancing is crazy. This is definitely the place to go if you are looking for a late night wild party.
The party scene is constantly changing and shifting on Roatan and new crowds of tourists flock to new bars and clubs, that is what makes partying on Roatan so much fun.
